The Acctim ‘Elsie’ is a delightful alarm clock packed full of features that make it a joy to use. The clear Arabic font combined with luminous tipped hands and a light make the dial face easy to read at night. The non-ticking sweep second hand ensures a peaceful sleep while the large buttons are easy to locate - just tap the top for a glorious extra couple of minutes in bed.

Clock as described but not exactly as as I wanted. I wanted handles glow in the dark better - I have to go close to it and use the light on top to see the time. Also it is not entirely silent.

The only snag if that the light would be better if it came from the top rather than from the side which tends to blind me when looking at it from my bed.

Lovely User-Friendly Alarm Clock

I am delighted with this pretty little clock, I chose pale blue from the range of colours. It is very well designed, with clear arabic numbers, good hands, and more traditional controls - a large, easy to press button on top and a very accessible On/Off for the alarm on the side. The two back controls set time and alarm time. The alarm sound is very gentle to start with, with its snooze feature! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good old fashioned clock, but silent (no ticking) reliable modern technology. Thank you.
